fun signs, part II

Food theme this time around. Below we have Blendy coffee, Delicious Party cheese and dried squid strips (I don't know if I would go with delicious but it was a party of sorts for my unsuspecting taste buds), and of course, Crunky chocolate.

foreign signs are splendid. on a fung wah bus there was a sign that said:

DON'T FORGET YOUR BELONGING

and on an Uzbek menu in Brighton B there was a dessert called:

ORIENTAL SWEAT

instead, of course, of 'sweet'.

keep up coming,
love,
VCoco

(& thanks for the site link!)

What you didn't like the squid strips?! I ate those growing up...my favorite are the spicy kind. Oh, and shrimp chips. Yum, yum.

Oh, I want chocolate Crunky! That sounds like a hip hop item gone bad!

Best of luck on your trip!

"vcoco"> oriental sweat! ha! love it.

also i enjoy the new alias, cocktail waitress perhaps? no, because i still think "venerated" and then i have visions of you in a white rob meditating on a big satin cushion with attendents fanning...

vera> have to say the cheese/squid strips were OK, i guess i just really wanted it to be a cheese strip and it the squid was getting in the way :P

jason> thanks! yea, the crunky does sound anything but appetizing, right? the engrish is just a constant source of amusement.

Blendy and Crunky?? Can't you just hear the cheesy commercial: "Wow, this chocolate is SO crunchy!" "Well, I like it cause it's chunky!" "CRUNCHY!" "CHUNKY!" "CRUNCHY!" "CHUNKY!" Voice over: "Boys, boys, why don't we just call it "Crunky?"

LOL

But actually your friend "vcoco's" Oriental Sweat takes the cake. That one really did make me laugh out loud!

Love you, Mom

you keep on with those visions. you know what they say about the power of the mind...

nice mom. you know, it hadn't occurred to me that it could be a combination of those two lovely adjectives, obvious as it is. i just thought, that sounds like something molding in the trunk of a car, not something crunchy and chunky and delicious.
